Fashion Tips for the Upcoming Spring Season

Now that spring is approaching, it's time to prepare for a wardrobe change. We all love the colors and prints that spring brings. When it comes to mastering the style of spring, there are some tips you can try to make spring more acceptable. As busy parents, we know you need all the help you can get, and these tips will help you start to spring in style!

  • Begin with the Wardrobe Staples

Before putting together a spring outfit, you need to make sure you have what you need. For spring, this includes sundresses, maxi skirts or dresses, cardigans, colorful accessories, sleeveless tops, sprint prints such as floral, stripes, polka dots, Bermuda shorts, and mix and match separates.

Once you have these spring staples in your closet, you can easily put together a look that incorporates seasonal elements.

  • Combine Spring Prints

The most known spring print is arguably the floral pattern. But instead of following a simple route and wearing just one piece of flower, try wearing contrasting prints to mix things up. The key to combining prints is to keep the two pieces in the same color family and mix and match prints of different sizes. Adding a simple denim-like texture will tighten the look and tone down as needed.

  • Use Layering

Spring is the season when layers can be utilized. Depending on where you live, you may or may not have chilly spring weather. But if you're indoors, you may need a little bit to cover yourself. Spring classics like cardigans come in handy. You can wrap the cardigan around your waist when you don't need it and put it back in as soon as the cold has subsided. If you work in the office, it would be nice to have a corporate-style blazer that you can wear over a sleeveless business casual top. In spring, mixing and matching are everything, and stacking pieces makes it possible.

  • Make it Light as Possible

Spring is not a time of dark colors and thick fabrics. It's the season of "growth", which means bright colors and breathable fabrics. The essence of spring style requires light clothing. If you want to wear a darker color, give it a little light to balance it. Layering is good, but don't overdo it. Keep your look comfortable and gentle, so that strolling through the spring breeze in style is a breeze.

  • Wear Adaptable Pieces

Some items are only suitable for spring, but many versatile items can be worn over many seasons. Something like a button-down chambray shirt is great because it can be worn alone under a sweater or over a sundress.

You can also try the T-shirt dress alone or over the leggings. These seasonal garments are a must-have for spring, so you can create different looks that work at any temperature.

  • Spice Your Style Up with Accessories

On spring days, when you’re wearing a very simple outfit, you can easily add charm to your outfit with accessories. Try scarves with fun spring prints and bright spring-colored jewelry. Spice it up with pop colors to your shoes or choose a handbag to enhance your look. If your style is all about comfort, you can stay loyal to it and add a little seasonal chic with accessories.
